Life in Russia: The real story

The Fallen Monument Park

Russia’s tenure in the Soviet Union, between 1922 and 1991, is a well-known period in the country’s history. You might have been wondering what happened to those iconic statues after the Soviet Union split apart. Many were definitely demolished immediately after the fall, but the ones that survived can be found and admired at Moscow’s Fallen Monument Park.
