“Authentic” and “genuine”
Madison Prewett was a Bachelor competitor and runner-up in the Peter Weber season, therefore the show naturally helped her gain a large number of Instagram followers. She also created a few phony profiles so she could respond to herself as if she were one of her followers, which is a common practice among growing Instagram stars. She didn’t do a particularly good job of concealing it, though, since she forgot to switch accounts before responding to herself, resulting in amusing remarks.
