Festival of Kimjongilia
The Kimjongilia Festival is mandatory for everyone in North Korea. On the anniversary of their former leader Kim Jong Il, this yearly celebration includes a special flower that bears his name. A military parade, flower exhibitions, and a sizable dance party are all part of the celebration.
